Flowers are fun, but fruit flowers are delicious! Create a colorful bouquet using fresh summer fruit and watch your snack blossom into a work of art. It’s a sweet way to celebrate sunny days—and every piece is ready for a tasty bite.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Servings: 2 fruit bouquets

Difficulty Level: Easy

Ingredients

  • green apple
  • assorted fruit (strawberries, melon, pineapple, raspberries, etc.)
  • wooden coffee stirrers (cut to different lengths)
  • tools

Steps

  1. Build the bouquet base. Cut the apple in half lengthwise. Place it flat side down on a plate.
  2. Create colorful “flowers.” Cut up pieces of fruit.
  3. Give each bloom a stem. Insert a coffee stirrer into each piece of fruit.
  4. Watch your bouquet blossom! Insert each fruit “stem” into the apple to make a bouquet.

Tips

No coffee stirrers? Try lollipop sticks, popsicle sticks, or bamboo skewers (with the sharp ends removed by an adult).

No apples? Use half an orange, grapefruit, or a small melon as your bouquet base.
