Steps
- Make the mask. Paint the paper plate black. When dry, add white spots and a red eye using paint. Cut eye holes.
- Make the beak. Cut a toilet paper tube in half lengthwise, paint it black, and glue it to the center of the plate below the eye holes.
- Add a strap. Punch a hole on each side of the mask. Thread yarn or elastic through and tie it to fit your head.
- Make webbed feet. Cut two large webbed-foot shapes from black craft foam. Make them big enough to fit over your shoes. Cut slits at the back so you can slide your feet in.
- Make wings. Cut two large wing shapes from black craft foam. Attach yarn loops so they slip over your arms.
- Put it all together. Mask on, feet on, wings on. Now walk with a waddle and let out your best loon call!
